1. What’s the purpose of a lead magnet?

A lead magnet is also known as a “freebie”. It’s a small piece of free, valuable content that you are providing in exchange for their email address. It is a great tool to introduce yourself to potential buyers.

2. What is the difference between a landing page and an opt-in page?

They are essentially the same thing. A landing page is any web page that a visitor can land on, and your opt-in page, sales page, thank you page, etc. are just types of landing pages. It’s called an opt-in page because you are capturing a lead from them giving you their email address.

3. Where do I create my lead magnet?

One great tool we use is Canva, and it is free! If you need something simpler, then you can use Google Docs and can save it as a PDF.

4. Where do I create a landing page?

We recommend the platform LeadPages, but many of the email marketing platforms such as MailChimp and ActiveCampaign come with features that allow you to create a basic landing page.
